Funeral services for Joan Elizabeth Kile, 79, of Montgomery, Texas will be at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 31, at First Baptist Church, Westlake, Louisiana.

Dr. Wayne McEntire will officiate. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery under the direction of Sam Houston Memorial Funeral Home.

Visitation is 2:30 - 4:30 p.m. on Saturday, August 30 at Sam Houston Memorial Funeral Home in Willis, Texas and from 2:00 - 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 31 at First Baptist Church in Westlake, Louisiana.

Mrs. Kile went home to be with her heavenly Father at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday, August 28, 2014. She was surrounded by loved ones.

A native of Lake Charles, Louisiana, she resided in Westlake more than 50 years.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Cornelius Rhea Wheeler, Sr. and Rena Austin Wheeler.

Survivors include: her husband, Thelton C. Kile, Sr. of Montgomery, Texas; four daughters, Robyn Kile Fuselier and Joanna Le Kile, both of Conroe, Texas, Allyson Kile Daughdril (Ben) of The Woodlands, Texas, and Carrie Kile Cook (Clint) of Boerne, Texas; one son, Thelton C. "Cal" Kile, Jr. (Paula) of Montgomery, Texas; one brother, Cornelius Rhea Wheeler, Jr. (Debbie) of Houston, Texas; six grandchildren, Austin Lane Daughdril, Haley Daughdril Reyes (Jonathan), Morris Hayden Fuselier, Kathryn Elizabeth Kile, Kollyn Ruth Kile, and Lauren Lyn Cook; two great grandchildren, Eva Christine Reyes and Hayden Christian Fuselier; one niece, Carley Wheeler Ricciardi (David) of The Woodlands, Texas and her sister-in-law, Rhonda Miller Wheeler of The Woodlands, Texas.
