John Robert Skelton, 37, of Conroe died Sunday, July 2, 2017 at home. Born October 16, 1979, in Tomball, Texas to Terry and Doris Skelton. He was raised in the Klein, Tomball, and Willis areas and graduated high school in 1998 from Willis High School.

John worked for 18 years in vacation property sales traveling all over the United States. He never met a stranger and was loved by all that met him even if for a moment on a plane, in a bar, in a restaurant, through a friend, or even on Facebook. He was a "professional" fisherman. If there was water, he would throw any dead bait available. John loved any make of firearms starting with his first Daisy BB gun. He enjoyed shooting targets, clays, trees, plants, and BBQ pits. Above all, he loved any activity that included his brother, sister-in-law, nieces, nephew, dad, mom, granny, cousins, or friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather Archie Skelton, grandfather William Belnoske, grandmother Ellie Belnoske, uncle Richard Belnoske, uncle John Belnoske and wife Mary Ann, and uncle Frank Rumore.

John is survived by his dad Terry and mom Doris of Galveston, Texas, brother Michael and his wife Stacey and their children Jarid, Samantha, and Daisy of Willis, Texas, grandmother Betty Skelton-White and husband Noah of Friendswood, Texas, aunt Kathryn Rumore of Spring, Texas, and the many friends that he loved like family.

John's family and all his friends will join together to celebrate his beautiful life Saturday, July 15, at Madera Estates, 3201 N Frazier St, Conroe, Texas, from 7 PM to 11 PM.
