John and I shared the same birthday, Nov. 20th though I was a year older (born in 1935). We were fraternity brothers at OU. John was a good friend and a good guy. He is and will be missed.

Mr. Carlson was person that watched over me, not just because I was his daughter's friend but because that was the kind of person he was. I remember fondly (now) how Mr. Carlson would send Bob and Chris to round up Deborah on weekend nites. I was with her quite often and the orders given to Bob and Chris was to bring JJ home too. I also remember him asking me why Deborah and I don't just stay home and watch TV with him. He was a very particular man and liked things exactly the way he liked him; he really didn't want to bother with what you thought. Thank you for many Christmas memories and thank you for sharing your family with me. It was always a special blessing.
