Johnny Marvin Cook Sr. was born on November 2, 1933 in Conroe, Texas and passed away May 4, 2012 in Conroe, Texas. He graduated from Conroe High School in 1953. Johnny was a proud father of four sons and two grandsons. While he raised his family in Pasadena, Texas with May Vaughn during their 24 years together, Conroe was the place that was always home for him. Johnny is survived by his only brother, Roy Clendon Cook and his large extended family and by his two youngest sons, Jeffery Michael Cook and his partner Francisco T. Flores of Dallas, Texas and by his youngest son, James Matthew Cook and his two sons, Taylor John Cook and Mitchel James Cook of Kaysville, Utah. He is also survived by a host of other loving family members and friends. Special thanks are given to his brother, Roy and his niece, Donnalee Allen and nephew, Troy "Buzz" Cook for all they have done during this difficult time. Preceding Johnny in death were his mother, Alma Cook; father, Marvin Vivian V. Cook; his eldest son, Johnny Marvin Cook, Jr. and his second oldest son, Mark Raymond Cook. We love them all.
