Jonathan Cody Benham, 22 years of age, was born in Round Rock, Texas and graduated from Willis High School in Willis, Texas. Jon dearly loved football and played every year of his school years in Willis.

Jon was tragically taken from us on February 1, 2013. He was preceded in death by his parents, Vince and Deanie Carol Benham. He is survived by his brothers, USMC LCpl Bryan V. Benham and Kristopher N. Benham. Jon is also survived by his grandparents Ken and Dell Ariola of Willis, Texas, Fred and Joyce Benham of Spring, Texas; and fiancé Meghan Van Ham of Conroe, Texas; Aunt Cheryl Richardson, his cousins Shannon Yow and wife Jamie, and Michael Yow and wife Theresa; Uncles Terry Green and Gary Hilborn; Aunt Terri Eddins and his cousins Ricky Eddins and USMC Sgt. Timmy Eddins; Uncle Flash Benham and wife Amy and his cousin Elizabeth Benham; and Uncle Keith Benham and cousins April Shaw and Spc James Benham, US Army.

Jon had many friends and he tried to make others laugh. He was known to give comfort and advice to others when they were feeling down. Jon loved singing with his little brother Kris and hanging out with his older brother Bryan. He will be greatly missed by all of his family and friends.

Visitation with be between 6-8:00 PM on Tuesday, February 5, 2013 at Sam Houston Memorial Funeral Home in Willis, Texas. Services will be at 10:00 AM Wednesday, February 6, 2013 at Sam Houston Memorial Funeral Home, 10129 FM 1097 West, Willis, Texas, 936-890-0454. Burial will follow at Forest Park - The Woodlands, 18000 I-45 South, The Woodlands, Texas, 936-321-5115.
