A memorial service for Joseph Barolak, age 87, of Conroe will be held on Friday, March 2, 2012 at 2 p.m. at St. James Episcopal Church with Reverend Jerald Hyech officiating. Joseph was born on January 23, 1925 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to George and Anna Badie Barolak and passed away on February 25, 2012 at his home in Conroe, Texas. He served his country in the U. S. Army during WWII as a pilot in the China, Burma and India Theatre. He worked as a chemical engineer for numerous years and retired as plant manager for Rohm and Haas in Deer Park.

Joseph is survived by his wife, Helen Barolak; daughters, Barbara Hughes and husband Marty and Ann Barolak and husband Tom Burke; sons, Robert Barolak and wife Ellen, Greg Barolak and wife Cathy and James Barolak and wife Kim; sister, Eleanor Bryan; grandchildren, Mark Barolak, Brian Barolak, Stephen Barolak, Kelsey Barolak, Elizabeth Barolak, Thomas Barolak, Katie Barolak, Jonathan Barolak, Leslie Rothstein, Jillian Rothstein and Tommy Burke.
