Joseph Hinojosa Jr., 18, of Montgomery, Texas entered into eternal life on Tuesday, May 6, 2014. He was born in Corpus Christi, Texas on May 15, 1995 to Joseph Hinojosa Sr. and Leslie Savage Hinojosa. Joseph is survived by mother Leslie Hinojosa; father Joseph Hinojosa Sr. & wife Monica; siblings Lindsey Wilson, John Albert Hinojosa, Jonathan J. Rodriguez, Candace M. Hinojosa, Justin A. Hinojosa, and Makayla E.V. Hinojosa; grandparents Mr. & Mrs. Apolinar Hinojosa; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. Joseph is preceded in death by grandparents Mr. & Mrs. Linton Sidbury Savage, and Mr. & Mrs. Lester E. Bruce; and great-grandparents Mr. & Mrs. Juan Hinojosa, and Ms. Lydia Escamilia. Joseph was a student of Lone Star College working towards his computer engineering degree. His hobbies were drawing, gaming, and music. His favorite place was the beach--he loved swimming. He also enjoyed hanging out with his brothers and sisters. A visitation for Joseph will be held from 8:30-9:30 a.m. on Monday, May 12, 2014 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, with the Rosary following at 9:30 a.m and the funeral mass beginning at 10:00 a.m.

Joseph - you were my neighbor and I only regret not getting to know you more. You were always so sweet and polite, your manners were impeccable. When we saw you outside we were always greeted with a warm wave or greeting. I know God is taking care of you now. You will always live in our hearts and prayers.
