The Honorable Kenneth F. Reilly passed away on June 23, 2012 in Conroe from heart failure. Ken was born in 1931 in Stamford, CT but moved to Texas in 1952. He proudly served as a Lieutenant in the USAF. After receiving his law degree from the South Texas College of Law, Judge Reilly was appointed to the bench in Harris County in 1963, and most recently served as Montgomery County Judge for 9 years. A nationally known speaker and toastmaster, he traveled the country lecturing on environmental issues.

Local readers will know him from his column in the Courier Trends under Del Lago news.

He is survived by his three daughters; Dr. Debra Ann (Bob) of Omaha, NE., Kathleen (Eric) Carter and Laura Reilly of San Antonio. He has three granddaughters; Madeleine, Alexandra and Emma Carter. Judge Reilly was preceded in death by his father, Harold V. Reilly, and mother Florence nee Murphy, as well as, his sisters; Cpt. Catherine (Betty) Reilly and Louise Medeiros. He is survived by his brother Harold Reilly, Esq. of Las Vegas, NV.

A Celebration of his life will be held at Giovanni's Restaurant on Tuesday, June 26, 2012 from 5-7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the 100 Club, 5555 San Felipe Street, Suite 520, Houston, Texas 77056; or to his daughter Debra's " Women for Women Medical Mission Organization" "www.womenforwomen-ipras.org). are appreciated.
