Funeral services for Judi Miller will be held Friday, April 12, 2013 at 3:00pm in Cashner Colonial Chapel. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the services, beginning at 2:00pm. On April 8, 2013, Judi Miller age 73, left behind a broken body bereft of memories and entered a heavenly place of perfect peace and remembrance. And even while we mourn the loss of our beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, we rest in the knowledge that Judi is rejoicing in the presence of her Lord and Savior.

Judith Eileen Jones was born on July 30th, 1939 to Gerald and Virginia Jones in Denver, Colorado. Judi attended South High School in Denver. On August 1, 1963 Judi married her best friend Billy Gene Miller. Together they raised five children, rescued many dogs and traveled the world. Judi and Bill left Denver in 1965 and lived for one year in Los Angles before settling down to raise their family in Midland Texas. As a wife and mother, Judi was fully committed. She volunteered as PTA president, carnival chairperson, choir mom, theatre seamstress and whatever else was needed. After raising her five children, Judi attended Midland College then shortly after moved to Houston where she worked for the City of Houston in the accounting office. In 1982, Judi accepted a position with Continental Airlines, where she worked until her retirement in 2002. Bill and Judi moved back to Midland in 2010. In their retirement years Bill and Judi traveled extensively through out the United States, Western Europe and Mexico. Their favorite vacation spot was Hawaii.

Judi is survived by her husband, Bill, five children: Julie Braswell (and David) of Fort Collins, Colorado; Janine Haynes (and Allan) of Midland, Texas; Jackie Smith (and Steve) of Magnolia, Texas, Bill Miller (and Dominique) of Spring, Texas and Bobby Miller of Midland Texas, eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, Virginia Jones and Gerald Jones and her brother Bruce Jones. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Judi's honor to Home Hospice of Midland.
