Judith A. (Judy) Foster was called home by her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ February 24, 2014 with her family at her side.

Judy was born December 24, 1942 in Roundup, Montana. She moved to Mississippi with her family in 1956. She graduated from Shady Grove High School in Laurel, Mississippi in 1961 and became Mrs. Judy Foster November 15th of that same year.

Judy and Joe moved to the New Orleans area where Joe worked in the Oil Industry. While there, Judy worked as secretary of the First Baptist Church of Marrero, Louisiana. Judy and Joe moved to Spring, Texas in 1982 when Joe was transferred to his company's home office in Houston. While living in Spring, Judy worked for the Klein ISD and retired after 20 years of service. Judy and Joe moved to the Conroe area in 2003 after they retired.

She loved her family and her Lord Jesus and served both in a gracious and effective manner. The beauty of this lovely lady was not only displayed by her joy of serving others, but also in her radiant smile, which was a light to all who knew her. She will surely be missed.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Betty Basinger Hickey, and her brother, Harold Abbott. She is survived by Joseph (Joe) Foster, Jr., loving husband of 52 years; son, Joey and wife Rhonda Foster of Jacksonville, Texas; daughter, Cathy and husband Timothy Hurst of Willis, Texas; father, Ray Hickey and sister, Phylis Hathorn of Shreveport, Louisiana; brother, Dallas (Sonny) and wife Gail Hickey of Laurel, Mississippi; grandsons, Rueben Tamez, Tanner and Micah Hurst; granddaughters, Jade and husband Chad Rosier, and Jami Foster; great-grandchildren, Cameron and Connor Rosier and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, February 25, 2014 from 5:00 p.m. till 8:00 p.m. Funeral Services will be Wednesday, February 26, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. in the Cashner Colonial Chapel with burial to follow in Garden Park Cemetery.
