Julia (Judy) Turner was born in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania to Italian immigrants on July 14,1919. She passed away November 6, 2015 at the age of 96.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Erminia and Antonio Fabrizio, two brothers and four sisters; her husband David Turner; her son Terry Turner and her son-in-law K. Shibley. Judy is survived by her daughter, Nina Turner Shibley of Montgomery, TX, her grandsons John Shibley (Misty) and family of Conroe, TX and Tyrone Turner (Jenny) and family of Jackson, MO; several nieces and nephews and close friend Mary Beamguard of Montgomery, TX.

Judy was a long-time resident of April Sound. She was an avid tennis player having won club trophies in singles and doubles. She never stopped learning. Judy received her associate's degree from HCC in her late sixties and loved all the new technology. She traveled extensively with her husband in the 1940's. Judy had a career with General Electric and in the commercial real estate industry. She finally retired at 75 years of age to spend the rest of her life enjoying her family, her friends, and her flowers.

A memorial service is pending.
