Karen Jones, 53, of Willis, TX went to be with the Lord on Saturday November 17, 2012. Born Robbie "Karen" Jones on September 15, 1959 to Robert & Virginia Defoor in Conroe, TX.

Karen married the love of her life, Billy, on June 23, 1982 and together raised their three wonderful children. She loved nothing more than being a devoted wife, amazing mother and MiMi to her grandchildren. To say that she was the best Mom ever would be an understatement. She was always there when her children needed her and always knew the perfect thing to say or do to make them feel better. Karen always put her family first and was the most selfless wife, mother, daughter and friend.

Karen is preceded in death by her father, Robert Defoor and father-in-law & Mother-in-law Charles R. & Nina Bortz.

Karen was a long time employee at Kroger in Conroe, TX for 22 years and will be greatly missed by her coworkers.

She is survived by her loving husband of 30 years, Billy Jones; son: Landon Defoor; daughter: Leah Jones and boyfriend Larry DeBoard; son: Bradley Jones and wife Ashley; her mother: Virginia Defoor; sisters: Susan Bergeron and Cindy Duplichan; brother, Jeff Defoor.

Karen's greatest passion in life was being MiMi to her grandchildren. She never missed a soccer game, baseball game, school play or birthday party. She will be greatly missed by her grandchildren: Blaine Walker, Carrington Jones, soon-to-be born Chloe Jones and Kaitlyn & Chase DeBoard.

Family, friends, and others whose lives Karen touched are invited to Metcalf Funeral Home on Friday November 23, 2012 from 5-7pm for a visitation. Services will also be at Metcalf Funeral Home on Saturday, November 24, 2012 at 10am. You are invited to leave tributes to the family at www.metcalffuneraldirectors.com.
