Karen Lewis Kent of Conroe, was welcomed into the loving arms of her Lord & Savior Jesus Christ & His Father on August 31, 2014 at 6:23 a.m.

Karen was born June 3, 1947 in Oswego, New York, to Harold & Dotty Lewis and was adopted by Mac & Mom Turnbull. Both set of parents are deceased.

Karen fought a 17 year battle with heart and lung disease. She never let these problems stop her from enjoying life with everything she was blessed with; always on the go until the last 4 years of her life.

She had three sisters and one brother. Her siblings are Sylvia (deceased), Jean and her husband Bill Smith, Beverly and her husband Joe Harper, and brother Edwin Lewis (deceased).

Her children were top priority. She had four children Amanda and her husband Stan Sutton, Danny and his wife Marylee Blake, Melinda Blake and significant other Russell Cantera, Dennis Blake and his wife Tammy McFee, and adopted daughter Carrie Johnson.

Karen's grandchildren were Christopher, Ben, Samantha, Natalie, Lesley, and Alise.

A memorial service will be held in her honor on October 10, 2014 at 1 p.m. at First United Methodist Church - Willis 200 N. Thompson Willis, Texas 77378 936-856-2233

A small lunch will be provided after the service. The service is an open memorial of Joy, Happiness, and Love in Karen's name and memories. Pastor Mark Woodward will be presiding over the service.

Flowers may be sent to the above address, or a monetary gift may be given to First Methodist Church Children Fund at above address.
