Karen Rose Mueller Brown was born in Brenham, Texas on July 1, 1956 to Arthur and Rosalie Moehlmann Mueller and passed away November 29, 2014 at the age of 58. She was a graduate of Brenham High School and attended Blinn Junior College, Sam Houston State University where she earned a degree in Criminology. She also was the first woman on the police department at Texas A&M in College Station, worked for the Brenham Police Department, the Burleson County Probation Office, and retired from Montgomery County after 26 years. The things she most cherished in life was camping and the outdoors, and watching her nieces and nephews playing. Karen attended the Lutheran Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, her father-in-law James Q. Brown, brother-in-law Gary Brown and sister-in-law Mitzi Brown. She is survived by her husband of 17 years Dennis Brown of Conroe, Texas; step sons, Daniel Brown and wife Monica of El Paso, Texas and David Brown and wife Amy of Arizona; her mother-in-law Ruth Mae Brown; her brothers, James Mueller and wife Donna of Spring, Texas and Glenn Mueller and wife Connie of Conroe, Texas; her grandchildren, Sarah Brown, David Brown Jr., Shelby Brown and Nicholas Brown; special nieces, Heather Thompson and Kimberly Brumbley; special nephew Nathan Rogers; nephews, Craig Mueller, Kevin Mueller, Travis Mills and Eric Mills and great nieces, Jade Mills and Faith Mills. Karen is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, cousins and friends. Visitation will be at Cashner Funeral Home on Wednesday, December 3, 2014 starting at 9am.
