KENNETH EARL SPENCER SR 1938 - 2015 Kenneth Earl Spencer Sr. Born on February 3, 1938 in Nederland, Texas passed away at his home in Willis, TX on Thursday, August 6, 2015 at the age of 77. Kenneth was born to parents Asa and Maude B Pevoto Spencer grew up in Nederland, TX, graduating Nederland High School in 1957. Kenneth married his high school sweet heart, Ruby Lela Sheffield on August 23, 1957. He had 12 years of public service as a Police Officer and EMT for the Pasadena, TX Police department finishing his public service as Chief of Police in Clute, Tx. Kenneth went into the construction trade where he joined the IUOE Local 450 and retired from the union as well as Austin Industrial. Kenneth was preceded in death by his wife and lifelong friend Ruby Sheffield Spencer, his parents Asa and Maude B Pevoto Spencer, brother James (Jimmy) Spencer as well as one daughter, Karen Elise Spencer, two sons; Keith Edward Spencer and Kyle Eric Spencer. He is survived by brother Asa Spencer and wife Denise of Woodville, Texas, sisters Edith Parsley and Husband John of Willis, TX, and Joyce Belt and husband Donald of Kountze, TX. Sons Kenneth Earl Spencer Jr. and Wife Delores of Groesbeck, TX, Klark Everett Spencer and Wife Michele of Lumberton, TX, daughters Shirlee Kara Spencer Vader of Huntsville, TX, Suzanne Krista Spencer Dawdy of Willis, TX., eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Monday, August 10, 2015 from 5pm to 7pm at Metcalf Funeral Directors, 1801 East White Oak Terrace, Conroe, TX 77304. Funeral services scheduled for 10am Tuesday August 11, 2015 at Metcalf Funeral Directors in Conroe with grave side following at 11:45am in Cude Cemetery, Willis, TX.
