Kenneth K. Kelly, 89, formerly of Magnolia, went to be with His Lord on Wednesday, October 23, 2013. He was born on May 23, 1924 in Saratoga to M.F. and Myrtle Kelly. Kenneth served in the U.S. Navy during World War II in the South Pacific. Brother Kelly pastored churches in Arkansas, Louisiana and Texas over 63 years. He retired from First Baptist Church Magnolia in 1989, but continued to minister until the decline of his health at age 87.

Kenneth leaves behind his wife of almost 65 years, Nelda Howard Kelly; children, Kenneth R. Kelly and spouse Kitty and Nita Kelly Marshall and spouse Ray; grandchildren, Tanner Kelly, Jordan Kelly, Ray Paul and Kayla Marshall and Stephen Marshall; brother, James B. Kelly, step sisters Betty Flournoy and Nell Kelly and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents and siblings, John F. Kelly, Preston Kelly, G.C. Kelly, Sara Perry and Ruth Cornet.

A time for family to receive friends will be from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 27, 2013 at First Baptist Church Magnolia, 18525 FM 1488. A service of celebration will follow at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Tim Byrd officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Hospice Brazos Valley, 502 W 26th St, Bryan 77803 or a church of your choice.
