Kerry Anthony Schuck was born July 3, 1991 in Harlingen, Texas to his parents Mark Schuck and Sally Power Schuck. He passed away at the age of 23 on May 23, 2015 in Conroe, Texas.

Kerry spent the first 11 years of his life living in Santa Rosa, Texas. In 2002 he and his family moved to Westlake, Louisiana. There he grew and was a 2009 graduate of Westlake High School where he was an awarded athlete and sportsman.

He then went on to serve his country in the United States Army. In the fall of 2010 he entered basic training at Fort Sill, Oklahoma. He was a proud soldier and when he was honorably discharged in February 2014 with numerous awards and decorations, his rank was Specialist E-4 and was a Field Artillery Specialist.

After being discharged he then moved to Willis, Texas where he was employed at AmeriTex Machine and Fabrication.

He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Virginia Carroll Power.

Kerry was married to Jocelyn Gertz of Huntley, Illinois.

He is survived by his mother, Sally Power Schuck of Willis, TX; brother, Chase Schuck of Conroe, TX; sisters, Jenna Schuck and fiance Loren McWhorter and nephew, Dillon, of Willis, TX and Kelly Ann Schuck of Willis, TX; grandfather, Billie Dee Power and his wife, Faye of Fairfield, TX; Uncle Walter "Bubba" Power of Weatherford, TX; Aunt Mollie and Uncle, David Ellwood of Boerne, TX; Aunt Tricia and Uncle Carlton of Weatherford, TX; his cousin, Amy and Chad Meyer and son, John David of Conroe, TX. and cousin, Dee and Andrew Topa of Ft Worth, Texas; as well as, cousins, Clancy, Sam and Ellie Fowlkes of Weatherford, TX.

He is also survived by his father Mark Schuck of Kirbyville, TX; grandmother, Sandra Martinez of McAllen, TX; aunt, Yvonne Schuck and husband, Roy Hanks of McAllen, TX; aunt, Eva Schuck of McAllen, TX. and uncle, Aaron Schuck of Harlingen, TX; and cousins, Megan and Christian Hanks of McAllen, TX. He also has numerous great aunts and uncles and cousins and friends who will greatly miss him.

Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, June 6, 2015 at 2:00 P.M. in The Chapel at Conroe Funeral Directors with Tim Power officiating. Kerry will receive military honors for his service.
