Leo G. Schulze was born February 5, 1935 in Eureka, Missouri and passed away after a lengthy illness at home on August 31, 2014 at the age of 79. Leo retired from Southwestern Bell as a Communications Technician after 38 years. He was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Society of St. Vincent DePaul, and a 4th Degree Knight with the Knights of Columbus. Leo also served his country in the US Army in Korea. He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years Susan Frahm Schulze, daughter and son in law Lea and David Rice, grandchildren Michael Schulze and Sara Sepulveda, great grandchild Yvaine Schulze, daughter and son in law Gayle and Kenneth Kuntschik, daughter and son in law Connie and Jimmy Bryant, grandchildren Whitney Ingram and Jonathan Bryant, great grandchildren Anna and Blake Bryant, sister Alice Wilkens, and sisters in law Jackie Christiansen, Rita Schulz, and Mary Ann Frahm, and numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Leo was preceded in death by his parents Leo W. and Hilda Machlenstedt Schulze, brother Robert Schulze, lifetime friend David Butler, and brothers in law Ace Frahm and Carl Christiansen. In lieu of flowers the family would like donations to be made to the Society of St. Vincent DePaul 109 N. Frazier Conroe, Texas 77301. Visitation will be at Cashner Funeral Home on Tuesday, September 2, 2014 from 5-7pm with a rosary beginning at 7pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church on Wednesday, September 3, 2014 at 10:30am with Father Philip Wilhite. Burial will follow in the Garden Park Cemetery. Pallbearers for the service are Kenneth Kuntschik, David Rice, Jimmy Bryant, Michael Schulze, Jonathan Bryant, and Leo Schulze.
