Lillian Jeanette McGehee Ormand of Conroe Texas, was born on February 18, 1934 in Yoakum, Texas to Daniel James McGehee and Johanna Elise McGehee. She passed away peacefully on August 4, 2015 in Conroe, Texas at the age of 81.

Lillian was a loving mother, sister, grandmother, and great grandmother who enjoyed life to its fullest for 81 years. She truly enjoyed people and was always willing to help when she noticed a need. Her family and friends will miss her.

She is preceded in death by her parents; brother, Leslie James McGehee. She is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Paul; children, Linda Ormand, Gordon Ormand, and Paula Aker and husband Terry; grandson, William Paul Aker, Sr. and wife Krystal; granddaughter Heather Aker; brother-in-law, Randy Ormand and wife Rosalie; sisters-in-law Martha Ormand and Mary Brzozowski; and several nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her three great grandchildren: William Paul Aker, Jr., Riley Kincaid Aker, and Bridget Kassidy Siobhan Aker.

Lillian was a longtime resident of Conroe and was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Conroe.

One of Lillian's great passions was bowling. She was a Life Member of the Montgomery County USBC as well as a Charter Member of the Montgomery County 600 Club. Lillian received the Volunteer of the Year Award and served in many elected offices within the organization. She also volunteered with the American Red Cross and the Special Olympics.

The family would like to send a special thanks to Azalea House Personal Care Home and Heart to Heart Hospice for all of their kindness and support during this difficult time.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made in Lillian's memory to the .

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, August 7, 2015 at 12:30 P.M. in The Faith Chapel at First United Methodist Church of Conroe with Pastor Mike Lindstrom officiating. A graveside service will follow at Houston National Cemetery located at 10410 Veterans Memorial Drive. The family will receive friends on Thursday, August 6, 2015 from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Conroe Funeral Directors.
