Linda Chatelain-loving wife, mother, grandma, sister, and friend - passed away peacefully at her home in Willis, Texas Saturday, December 16, 2017 at the age of 65. She was born in Santa Monica, California on April 29, 1952 to parents Ivan and Betty Bradley. Linda married the love of her life, Gaston "Mack" Chatelain, in November 1980.

A unique soul, Linda had a passion for family and friends; a woman who selflessly gave to help others. Linda's favorite day of the year was Christmas and she made sure it was a special day for everyone. Linda always had a smile even in her worst pain, and was the light in every room. She will forever be in our hearts; our special Christmas Angel.

Linda is survived by her husband of 37 years, Mack Chatelain; daughter, Jennifer McClain and husband Chuck; son, Glen Mataisz; brother, David Bradley; sister, Lillian Baltzer; grandchildren; Courtney Mataisz, Brittney Mataisz, Taylor Skinner, Trey Mataisz, Corbin Schermerhorn, and Cheyenne McClain; and many loved nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents; and her brother, Dale Bradley.

At Linda's request, no services will be held. The family will be having a celebration of life at a future date. You are invited to leave a written condolence on our website at www.shmfh.com.
