Linda Elsing Startz was born on October 26, 1951 in McAlester, Oklahoma. She passed from this life on Monday April 11, 2016 with her loving husband and children at her side. Linda married her best friend and love of her life, John Startz, on June 18, 1974. Together they spent 47 years with each other and had three children, Meghan, Amy, and Jonathan that were the heart and soul of her life.

She was ethical, strong willed, determined, and loving. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Houston, and then went on to obtain her J.D. from The South Texas College of Law. She made it one of her life missions to stand up and support others: first as a personal injury lawyer and later as a realtor helping to connect families with their dream homes, but first and foremost always as a mother and wife.

She made friends easily and enjoyed interacting with people. Her dynamic personality and presence was a rare force that could fill a room and can never be replaced.

Besides her husband and children, she is survived by a brother, Larry Elsing, and sisters Debbi, Kari, and Robbin as well as many nieces and nephews. She also leaves behind her lifelong friends George & Alice Clarke, Jeff & Valerie Reininger, and her cherished cards group: Cecelia, Sue, Kim, Karey, Pat, Rachel, Linda W., and Robin.

She will be forever missed and remembered by many friends, associates, and clients.
