Linda Gale Turner Scholl was called home to Heaven on August 22, 2015. A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held at Fellowship of Montgomery in Montgomery, TX on Friday, August 28 at 1:00 p.m.

Linda was born on November 30, 1956 in New Orleans, LA. She is preceded in death by her parents, Dr. Cleveland and Dorothy Turner.

Linda graduated from Justin F. Kimball High School in Dallas, TX and went on to attend Texas Tech University. On June 1, 1978 Linda completed training and earned the wings that she proudly wore as a Southwest Airlines Flight Attendant for over 22 years.

In retirement, Linda enjoyed traveling with her husband, family and friends. She spent time seeing America from coast to coast as well as South America, Europe and the Mediterranean. Linda was a devout advocate for homeless, abused and abandoned dogs. She worked tirelessly with the Texas German Shorthair Pointer Rescue, Foothills Animal Shelter and Animal Shelter Volunteers of Texas. Linda organized many cross country transports that gave local dogs the chance to find forever homes. For her efforts Linda was awarded the Conroe Police Department's Volunteer of the Year Award in 2012 and 2013.

Linda is survived by her husband Charlie Scholl, son Chip Scholl and wife Marissa, son Kelly Scholl and wife Sissy. Grandchildren, Kathlene, Victoria and Hunter. Brother Cleve Turner and wife Pat, nephew Wes and wife Brandi, niece Andrea and husband Loren, and great nephew Finn. Sister Diane Kazlow and husband Chuck, niece Marcy and husband Carson, great niece and nephew Emmalyn and Ryan.
