Lisa J. Sloan of Montgomery, Texas passed away on Sunday, November 11, 2012 at age 57. Lisa was born in Houston, Texas on May 23, 1955 to Ray and Ellen Warren.

She graduated from Columbia High School in 1972 and retired from Dow Chemicals in 2009 after completing 24 years. Her childhood was spent in Katy, Texas, and West Columbia. She and her husband Pat, whom she married on January 6, 1973, lived in Brazoria, Texas, Lake Jackson, Texas and Montgomery, Texas. Lisa loved camping, working in her yard, and had a gift of creativity. She had a love of God, family and friends. She was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, friend and "Nana". She had a kind and giving heart and did everything with excellence. Her favorite scripture being Mark 5:19.

Lisa is survived by her parents, Ray & Ellen Warren; husband, Pat Sloan; children, Jay Sloan and wife Karen, Steven Sloan; grandchildren, Hannah & Bethany Sloan, Zane Webster; sister, Melinda Goodwin, husband Bryan; brother, Marcus Warren, wife Brenda; sister-in-law, Sue Gupton, husband Jim; brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews, Jaime Goodwin, Jake Goodwin, Jenna Goodwin, Branden Tramel, Jodi Tramel, Shannon Gerstner and a host of friends.

Lisa is preceded in death by brothers-in-law James D. Sloan and Michael Sloan; mother-in-law Frances Sloan and father-in-law Jake Sloan.

A memorial service will be held at the Living Branch Church in Conroe, where Lisa was a member, on Wednesday, November 14th at 11:00 a.m. Pastor Kjell Johansson will officiate the service. In lieu of flowers, the family has suggested making any donations to the church or in Lisa's memory.
