Lois Magnolia Hatton, 91, longtime resident of Conroe, transcended into her Heavenly Father's arms on February 7, 2015 at 3:16 A.M. She was born on February 28, 1923 in Saratoga, Texas to Arthur Powell Neal and Blanche Emma (Teel) Neal, but lived in Conroe all her life. Lois Magnolia faithfully served at Grace Baptist Church for over fifty years and was a true servant of the Lord. She is rejoicing with her husband, Melton E. Hatton and her son, Lonnie Powell Stowe; as well as, her parents, Arthur Powell Neal and Blanche Emma Neal; her brothers and sisters, Barney Neal, Sr., Edmond Neal, Loraine Helton, and Joyce Pearson. She is survived by her loving family: children, Judy Askew, Gary Stowe and wife, Carol and Jan Bruner; grandchildren, David N. Taylor, Judy Lee and husband, Caesar, Bill Joe Taylor and wife, Tracey, Sam Prestwood, Jr. and wife, Tanya, Melton and Dianne Prestwood, David Askew, adopted grandson, Charles Knight and Dawn Smith; 19 great grandchildren and 10 great-great grandchildren and her one sister, Joanne Signor and her husband, Charles. Many loved nieces and nephews also survive.

Visitation will be held on Friday, February 13, 2015 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Conroe Funeral Directors. Graveside services will be held on February 14, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. at Cude Cemetery in Willis, Texas with Brother Darrell Stevens officiating. Grandsons will serve as honorary pallbearers.
