Louise M. Barnes, 93, was born in Poteet, Texas to Cyril and Emma Hooge and entered into eternal life on February 16, 2015. Preceded in death by her parents, sisters, Mary and Alice and brothers, Henry and Emil. Survived by daughters, Tommie (Pat) Brennan and Frances (Bob, deceased) Motzkin; siblings, Annie Vanbeveren, Lucille Hart And Cyril Hooge; grandchildren, Pat (Arleen) Brennan, David (Kellie) Brennan, Bobby (Kristen) Brennan, Jacob (Alicia) Brennan, Dennis Fossler, Dale Fossler, Lorelei (Keith) Findley and Matthew (Andrea) Motzkin; 18 great grandchildren, 4 great, great, grandchildren; her longtime friend Alice Anne and many other dear friends. Louise enjoyed a 30- year career with the Federal Civil Service, retiring from the Office of Naval Research. She was a parishioner at Sacred Heart Catholic Church for 29 years, a Eucharistic Minister, active member of Catholic Daughters, Ladies of Sacred Heart Workshop and the St. Vincent de Paul Society. Louise was a woman of deep faith that was evidenced by the way she lived her life. 2 Corinthians 5:7 "Walk by faith, not by sight". A visitation will be held Thursday, February 19, 2015 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm with a rosary at 6:00pm at Forest Park The Woodlands Funeral Home Chapel, 18000 I-45 North Frontage Rd, The Woodlands, Texas 77384. Funeral services will be held Friday, February 20, 2015 at 2:00pm in Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 109 North Frazier Street, Conroe, Texas 77301 with interment to follow at Forest Park The Woodlands Cemetery. Donations in Louise's memory may be made to the Sacred Heart, St. Vincent De Paul Society.
