Louise Woodson 95 years old, passed away on May 24, 2017 after a brief illness.

A homemaker and rancher's wife, she enjoyed raising her children, grandchildren, fishing, gardening and feeding anyone that would let her.

Louise and MF Woodson started their marriage & family in Houston Texas, and then retired to the family ranch in 1980 in Crockett, Texas.

She was the daughter of William Arthur and Laura Amelia Vick.

She was born in Grangerland, Texas, on August 12, 1921.

Married to Marion Faye Woodson (Woody) on January 25, 1940,

Louise was proceeded in death by parents, William Arthur and Laura Vick, husband Marion Faye Woodson (Woody), daughter Leah Francis Woodson Kelch, and by several sisters and brothers.

Survived by Daughter Laura Faye Smith & husband Arvil, Son William Glen Woodson & wife Terry, Grandchildren, Rodney Smith & wife Kelley, Jena Hutchinson & husband Dusty, Greg Kelch & wife Kathleen, Tammy Embrey & husband Rob, Ryan Woodson & wife Caitlyn, and Megan Woodson.

Great Grandchildren Cody Smith, Casey Smith, Shelbie Hutchinson, Macey Hutchinson, Tyler Kelch, Madison Kelch, Ashlee Hons & Husband Alex, Taylor Palermo, Hunter Palermo, Leah Rene Woodson.

Louise was very proud of her heritage as the 5 th generation decedent Granddaughter of Martin Palmer, a Signer of the Texas Declaration of Independence.

Visitation will be held on Friday, May 26, 2017 at 5pm to 7pm at Metcalf Funeral Home 1801 East White Oak Terrace, Conroe, TX 77304.

Funeral service to be held Saturday, May 27, 2017 at 10 A.M. at Metcalf Funeral Home 1801 East White Oak Terrace, Conroe, TX 77304, to be followed by a committal service at the Vick Family Cemetery, Grangerland, Texas.
