Lowell Allen Morris, 76, of Willis, Texas, passed from this life Monday November 23, 2015 with his loving wife Ruth by his side.

He was born Friday January 20, 1939 in Keokee, Virginia and was a longtime resident of Willis, Texas. He attended Mims Baptist Church for 20 years and was a Master Mason for over 40 years with the Vandalia Lodge of Dayton, Ohio. Lowell enjoyed working in his garden and watching horse racing on the television. He was a loving husband and father who worked hard to provide the best life for his family. He brought much joy and wisdom to everyone he came in contact with often over a cup of freshly brewed coffee. His family and friends love him dearly and his spirit will be cherished with each passing day.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Andrew and Beatrice Morris; and his sisters, Trula and Madeline.

Lowell leaves behind his loving wife, Ruth Morris; sons, Kirk Morris and wife Connie, Andrew Morris and wife Ashley; his daughter, Karla Layne; grandchildren, Maggie Layne, Miles Layne, and Hunter Morris; his great granddaughter, Aubrey Hamilton; and a host of other nieces, nephews, family and friends.

A Visitation will be held from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Friday December 4, 2015 in The McNutt Funeral Home Chapel in Conroe Memorial Park.
