Lucille Baudat Turner

Obituary
The Guest Book is expired.

Lucille Baudat Turner was born on Christmas Day in 1924 to George and Mary Walker. She was delivered to the Lord on August 14, 2011 at the age of 86. She was truly a gift to her friends and family. Lucille is preceded in death by her husband of 40 years B.P. Baudat, daughter Susie Baudat and husband of 20 years, Herman Turner.

Lucille was a woman of God. She attended Sacred Heart Catholic Church for many years and later the church family at Security Baptist Church. Lucille knew the Lord heard her prayers know matter what church she attended. She loved playing the organ, fishing and her collection of dolls but her true joy was her family and friends. She was always at her best when she had her family at her kitchen table and pot of coffee on the stove. She never took for granted the love of her family and always told them how much they meant to her. Her loss is an irreplaceable piece in our hearts.

She leaves behind three daughters: Cheryl Fox and husband John, Phyllis Baudat-Matthews and husband Curtis, and Jennifer Ray and husband Charlie. She was an adoring grandmother to Shannon Ligon and husband Brett, Stephanie Castleschouldt and husband Dane, Heather Treadway, Toma Harrison and wife Lana, Shellie Winkler and husband Mike, Myla Cobler and husband Billy, Phillip Gentile and wife Stephanie and Jennifer Gentile. Lucille was also a great-grandmother to seventeen great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be on Friday, August 19th at 10:00 a.m. at St. James Episcopal Church in Conroe, Texas. Graveside services to follow at Shepherd Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions to St. James Episcopal Church.
