Funeral Services for Margie Ann Thompson of Willis, Texas will be held on Friday, March 22, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. in The Chapel at Conroe Funeral Directors with the Rev. David Taylor and the Rev. David Hahn officiating. The Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, March 21, 2013 from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M.

Margie was born on March 21, 1957 in Willis, Texas to Newton F. Downs, Sr. and Annebell G. Weaver Downs. She passed away at the age of 55 on March 18, 2013 in Willis, Texas with her family by her side. Margie met and married the love of her life, Raymond Glenn on March 18, 1977 in Willis, Texas. She and her husband were longtime residents of Willis and together raised a strong Christian family. Margie, who loved to cook, often shared delicious meals with her family, as well as, extended family and dear friends. She absolutely adored children and loved helping out families in need. Margie had a passion for her family that was evident to all who knew her. Her greatest roles were that of being a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother and faithful friend. Her memory will be carried on in the hearts of her dear family and friends.

Margie is survived by her loving family: husband of 36 years, Raymond Glenn Thompson; daughters, Crystal Hartwick and husband, Brian and Wendy Thompson; brothers, Newton R. Downs, Jr. and Nathan E. Downs; sister, Sheryl D. Lovelady; grandchildren, Phoebe Hartwick, Bailey Hartwick, Lane Dick, Seth Dick, Caden Dick and Blaidyn Downs; numerous other dear relatives and friends also survive.
