Margie J Hamilton, 86 known as Meme to all that adored her passed while at the Clear Lake Regional Hospital in Webster, Texas on July 13, 2016. Meme lived all over growing up in Mississippi and when she married her adventure continued. Living all over the US as well as in San Jose, Costa Rica. In recent years her and her late husband "Cap Hamilton" called Conroe home and when he passed she moved to Spring but the last year the family moved to Clear Lake/ Nassau area of Texas. Meme loved living close to the Boardwalk where she loved to take walks. Meme's heart and soul was with the family and she loved taking care of everyone especially the kids when they were growing up (Tiffany, Hunter, Tanner, JT and Amber) saying " the kids keep me young. " She loved to cruise and the Alaska departures were her favorite sitting on the balcony enjoying her coffee in the mornings. We were blessed years back to have a family cruise and she wanted to another but her time ran out before this could take place. Meme lived loving everyone, showing kindness but also protective of the family. Her wisdom and roots with her strong Faith in the Lord has been passed on as well. Meme was all about the family, it's important to stay together and never lose that connection. Survivors include the following, her son Bill of Lake Conroe with his wife Dee and the grandchildren Hunter and Tanner, her daughter Lynn of Clear Lake and the granddaughter Tiffany of Spring who gave her two great grandchildren Jason Jr "JT" and AmberLynn. Her sister Nancy in Margate, FL., four step siblings, several nieces and nephews. This Saturday July 16, 2016 at 11am we will have a Celebration of her life with services and burial graveside at Cashner Funeral Home, 801 Teas Rd, Conroe, TX 77303 . Meme will be smiling down from heaven! Your prayers for the family are cherished. God Bless you. To leave condolences to the family, visit our website at www.cashnerconroe.com
