Margie Mae Winsman Mangum, born August 23, 1925 in Houston, Texas passed away on October 10, 2016. Married to Thomas Leeland Mangum (1926 - 2000) USAF (ret). Margie was preceded in death by her beloved father, Louis Winsman, and mother, Margaret Gum Winsman, as well as her older brother, Louis Winsman and wife Verna Winsman, her younger sister, Bette Winsman O'Hara and husband Dan.

Like the hummingbirds she so loved, Margie's delicate grace shaped her life and loves. A lifelong lived: Margie enjoyed the small pleasures rendered by her Lord and Savior.

She is survived by sisters, Carol Kuharski and Jennifer Baker; their children, daughters, Sandra Ann Mangum Batla and her children Alycia and Ericka Jeremiah, Karin Laura Lee Mangum Zieleck and son Kenneth, Laura Margaret Mangum and sons, Charles and Eric, Candace Justine Mangum and children Annette, Sean and Kristen; Tommie Lee Mangum Calfee and daughter Taylor Brooke; eleven great grandchildren and extended family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to the New Day Orphanage in Mapanza Zambia Africa headquartered at POBOX 1452 Grandbury, Texas 76048. Donations may also be made to the Friendship Center in The Woodlands, Texas at 2236 Lake Robbins Drive, Spring, Texas 77380.
