Mrs. Marian Pearce, 71, of Conroe, Texas, passed away peacefully in her home on November 11, 2016.

She is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews.

Marian was preceded in death by her parents Murl and Odell Simpson.

Marian was an active and enthusiastic member of First Baptist Church, Conroe, Texas and possessed an enormous amount of love and respect for her many friends in the Joy Class. Their times together were always filled with the love of Jesus, wonderful laughter, and actions that expressed their genuine love for the community, especially school children, teachers, and staff. Marian's brilliant sense of humor and ready-made stories from life will long be remembered by her family and friends.

Marian served Conroe High School for 26 years as a teacher of Child Care Training. Her high school students, her training program's 3-5 year old children and their parents, and the faculty and staff of CISD sincerely appreciated her work in providing exceptional child care for young children as well as preparing high school students for the future. She believed there is no greater reward than to teach "Children Learn What They Live". She inspired a generation of students to appreciate their gifts and talents and to apply themselves to what is right, what is good, and what helps others.

Marian will be remembered as a wise and loving wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend to all who knew her. Throughout her battle with cancer, Marian's goal was to glorify our living Lord through her warm smile, encouraging words, and enjoyment of victorious living in Christ. Her friends and family say well done and mission accomplished.
