Marion "Butch" Paluka was born on September 7, 1946 and passed away on July 6, 2016 at his home in Willis, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Anna Kroll Paluka, brothers Roy, Jr and Joe and sisters Lucille Ann Kingsbury and Dorothy Gehovak Ryder. He is survived by his loving wife Edna Buchanan Paluka, brother John Paluka and wife Joan of Arlington, WA and sisters Annie Mae Snoe and Diane Tomczak and husband BeBe all of New Waverly. He also leaves to cherish his memory, his stepdaughters Debe Parker and husband Bertram Parker III and Lucy Gunnip and husband Kevin Gunnip, along with 8 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.

Butch was a valued employee of Montgomery Co. Prec. 1 for 36 years where he met many lifelong friends. He was a lifetime member of St. Josephs Catholic Church in New Waverly.

Visitation is Sunday, July 10 from 5-7 pm with a rosary following at 7 pm at Sam Houston Memorial Funeral Home in Willis. Funeral services will be on Monday, July 11 at 11:00 am at St. Josephs Catholic Church in New Waverly with Fr. Kim Nguyen officiating. The burial will follow at Shepherd Hill Cemetery in Willis, TX. Pallbearers are Thomas Belinoski, Gary McClure, Spencer McClure, Billy Merrill, Robert Snoe, Kevin Tomczak, BeBe Tomczak and Frank Viniarski, Jr.
