Martha Jo McDonald born on April 1, 1935, passed away in Conroe, Texas on August 14, 2015.

Martha was a life-long member of Conroe Church of Christ as she loved our Lord and savior with all her heart. She was at church when the doors were open and could be found with kids, grandkids. She wanted to make sure they knew the Lord as well. She volunteered with the youth at church making costumes and such and was also in charge of the Rainbow ministry which made joy boxes full of gifts and scriptures for the sick, elderly and anybody that needed a little pick me up. She was a legal assistant for Judge Olen Underwood, then when he became judge, she was his court administrator and court reporter. She was a mentor and icon at the courthouse and everyone loved her kind heart and her hugs. She retired after approximately 30 years of service. After her retirement she spent her time taking care of her mother and playing with her grandkids. She was fully devoted to her kids and grandkids and spent her retirement with them. At any given time you could find at least one grandkid there, if not more. In her spare time, she would knit, crochet or tat. She had to be busy at all times and was always making something for somebody. She touch so many lives and was loved by everyone who knew her. She was certainly an angel here on earth. We all will miss her and her sweet hugs greatly.

Preceded in death by her husband Grady McDonald, Martha is survived by her sons; David McDonald and wife Kaye, Mike McDonald, daughter; Lisa Simpson and husband Rex, sister; Jeanette Ford Cox, grandchildren; Jesse McDonald, Christian Roley, Saraya Simpson, Dakota Simpson, great-grandchildren; Jordan McDonald, Brianna Vincent, Joshua Roley, Allanah Barnett, Jase McDonald.
