Martin Raabe, Jr., a longtime resident of Conroe, Texas, passed away in his home on October 12, 2012 after several years of declining health. While we miss him dearly, we know he is now happy, healthy, and with his heavenly father for eternity. He was born on July 30, 1941 in Graham, Texas to Martin and Elizabeth Raabe. He graduated from Vernon high School, attended Texas A&M, and graduated from SMU. He received a degree in pharmacy from the University of Houston and a law degree from South Texas College of Law. Until his health failed, he was active in his church and the Masonic Lodge. He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife Martha, to whom he was married for fifty years. He is also survived by his son, Todd Raabe of Tyler, Texas; daughter, Tracy Fossler of Dallas as well as grandchildren, Jared, Sydney, Lyndsey and Michael Raabe and Trygg and Liesl Fossler. The family plans a small private service. Martin Raabe loved the Lord, and he loved his children and grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the First Baptist Church Tyler South Campus Youth Building Fund at 301 S. Ferguson, Tyler, Texas 75702.
