Mary Bell (Beeson) Keen, passed away on December 16, 2012. She was born in Conroe, Tx on August 30, 1926. Mary was a lifelong resident of Montgomery County. She was a member of the Abundant Life Church in Willis. Mary received the Holy Ghost and was baptized in Caney Creek in October of 1948. She worked actively in her church as a Sunday school teacher, Youth Treasurer, and Faithful Prayer Warrior. Her daily Bible readings became most important to her in her later years. Mary had a true "green thumb" and she loved to garden and grew some of the prettiest Petunias, Zinnias, and Sunflowers. Mary was preceded in death by her loving husband of 66 years, Billy, her sons, John and Dwight, and her grandson, Brandon Keen.

Mary is survived by her daughter Connie and husband Rodger, of Porter, Tx; daughter Francis Pitts, of Porter, Tx; son Jerry and wife Carol, of Shepherd, Tx; son Roger Keen, of Conroe, Tx; sister Bonnie Littlefield, of Shepherd, Tx; brother Frank Jr Beeson, of Cold Springs, Tx; sister Dorothy Nelson, of Willis,Tx; brother Leonard Beeson, of Cold Springs, Tx; 15 grandchildren, 36 great grandchildren,6 great great grandchildren, and grand puppy Chi Chi.

Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 19 at 10:00am at Metcalf Funeral Home. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 18, 2012 from 5-8pm at the funeral home. The family of Mary would like to express a special thank you to Sharon, Bobby and Wendy from Heart to Heart Hospice for their constant and attentive care and to Pall Bearers, Charles Beeson, David King, David Garner, Gary Littlefield, Rodney Nelson, and Rick Acker. Honorary Pall Bearers will be grandsons, great grandsons, and great-great grandsons.
