Mary Louise (Funke) Noonan, born February 1, 1921, devout Catholic, proud family matriarch, fierce lover of family and friends, and feisty teller of stories, died of complications from pneumonia on Wednesday, April 20, 2016. She was 95. On August 30, 1939 she married her true love William George "Bill" Noonan. Louise resided in Houston, Austin and Conroe TX. Louise is survived by daughter Barbara Seales and her husband Bob, son William "Butch" Noonan and his wife Marian, son Frank Culberson, daughter Bonnie Bacon, daughter Virginia "Ginger" Snow and her husband Joe, daughter Janie Baugh, son Joe Noonan and his wife Melinda, son Barry Noonan and his wife Stephanie, son Bobby Noonan and his wife Kim. Her husband Bill preceded her in death on July 20, 1997. Louise is also preceded in death by daughter Mary Louise Noonan, son-in-law Ken Bacon, son-in-law Art Baugh, and daughter-in-law Alice Culberson. Louise kept count of (and was always happy to share with others) her legacy which currently stands at 25 grandchildren, 41 great-grandchildren, and 14 great-great-grandchildren plus their spouses whom she also claimed as her own. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, May 2, 2016 at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 10205 FM 620 N., Austin, TX 78726. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Eagle's Wings Retreat Center, PO Box 248, Burnet, TX 78611, web address: ewrc.org.
