Mary Lee Tinder, 81 of Willis, Texas passed from this life to the next on December 16, 2012 after suffering from a brief illness in the hospital. Mary Lee was born in Mt. Harmony, West Virginia on February 8, 1931 to Worth and Ruby DeVault. She met and married Robert S. Tinder also of Mt. Harmony. They were married for more than fifty years until he preceded her in death in 2004. She was a homemaker and mother of two. She enjoyed fishing, cooking, and spending time with her children and grandchildren and with numerous friends and neighbors.

Mary Lee is survived by her sister Aileen Fraker and husband Bill and niece Pamela Fraker. Mary Lee is also survived by her daughter, Roberta Elmore and husband Neal of Coldspring, TX. and son, Ron W. Tinder and wife Benita of Willis, Texas. She is survived by granddaughters Melanie Parker-Smalley and husband Dave of The Woodlands; Jennifer Dowdy and husband Jason of Cibolo, TX., grandson Wesley Elmore and wife Sonia of San Diego, CA., great grandsons Cory Parker, Joshua Dowdy, and Robert (Bobby) Elmore and great granddaughter Addyson Dowdy. She will be missed by her family and friends.

Graveside services will take place on Wednesday, December 26, 2012 at 9:30 a.m. at the Veterans National Cemetery in Houston,Texas. You are invited to view our web page at www.cashnerconroe.com
