MICHAEL EISWIRTH, longtime resident of Conroe, returned to his beloved hometown of New Orleans back in 2010. A lifelong lover of music and everything New Orleans, Michael was overjoyed to have reconnected with old friends. Michael passed away on February 11, 2014, at the age of 58. He is dearly missed by his parents, Beryl Petrich Willoz and Harold Eiswirth, his sister Karen Toupard, and scores of friends and family. Michael was one in a million, with a truly brilliant mind and witty charm. Once he met you, he never, ever forgot you, remembering both names and faces. He was a genuine people person and lover of life. Services were held at Jacob Schoen Funeral Home on Canal Street in New Orleans, followed by a Catholic burial in the Petrich family plot in St. Vincent Cemetery. The family requests that you keep Michael in your prayers.
