Mona Kathleen Fowler of Conroe, Texas, was called home to be with the Lord, Jesus Christ on October 24, 2017 at the age of 77. She was born September 1, 1940 in Shattuck, Oklahoma, and grew up in Follett, Texas. As a child, she attended Follett Elementary School and High School. Kathy graduated with a B.A. in English from West Texas State University. She was accepted into the third group of the United States Peace Corps and taught English in Thailand where she met her husband of 18 years Ronald L. Fowler. Kathy worked in various roles from co-owning a furniture store to human resources. She was the former President of the American Business Women's Association, while living in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and President of The Woodlands chapter of Toastmasters International. She was a life-long member of the Methodist Church, where she had many friends. Once retired, she lived life to the fullest, quilting, loving her grandchildren, and traveling with her twin sister to all corners of the earth. Kathy is survived by her son Clint and wife Jamie and children Austin, Chance, and Hannah; her daughter Rhonda Fowler Gruenewald and husband David and children Abby and Gabriel; her identical twin sister Karen Trammell and brother James Hill and wife Maureen. She was preceded in death by her mother and father Zella Byrl Farmer Hill and James Lewis Hill, and sister, Camille Harrelson. Our family offers their sincerest gratitude to the many people that have sent prayers, support, and love. Rest in Peace, Twin, Mom, and Nana. Memorial Service to be held at 10:00 AM on Monday, October 30, 2017 at First United Methodist Church, 200 N Thomason St, Willis, TX 77378.
