Mona left this earth to be with the Lord unexpectedly on April 22, 2017. She was born on October 28, 1959 in Port Arthur, Texas. She was fifty-eight years old.

Mona was a loving wife, mother and grand-mother. Mona was a substitute teacher with Montgomery ISD for over ten years, extremely involved with the cheer booster program at Montgomery High School and with the Montgomery chapter of the National Charity League with both of her daughters. She was a devoted and loving mother and grand-mother ("MiMi") to her daughters and grandson. She cherished her time with her family, grandson and numerous friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, James Buddy Perkins Jr. She is survived by her mother, Barbara Perkins; her husband, Greg Landrum; daughters, Brittany and Kayla Landrum; grandson, Grayson Sherman; brother, James Michael Perkins and wife Lynn; sister, Laura Lynne Livesay and husband Dennis; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation is scheduled for Thursday, April 27, 2017 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at Cashner Funeral Home in Conroe, Texas. The funeral service will be Friday, April 28, 2017 at 10:00am at Fellowship of Montgomery in Montgomery, Texas. Interment will follow at Garden Park Cemetery in Conroe, Texas, behind Cashner Funeral Home.
