She was born on September 29, 1915 in Stearn, KY to John and Stella Hall. Morna married the love of her life, Lewis A. Smith in December of 1934. She had a great love for children. Morna also loved playing the piano and singing. She enjoyed writing and was a part of the Conroe Scribblers Club for many years. One of Morna's many talents was weaving baskets from the Muscadine vines that she had growing in her backyard. Her artistic creations certainly reflected her caring personality. She would give these baskets out as gifts. Morna would spend hours bird watching and gardening, her favorite flowers were wildflowers. She will be dearly missed. Morna was preceded in death by her husband and two sons, Austin and Bryan Smith. Survivors: son, Craig Smith and wife, Dolly; daughter-in-laws, Jeanette Smith and Terry Smith; grandchildren, Mark Smith and wife, Nancy, Pam Smith, Lindsay Trepagnier and husband, Jeremy, Brandon Smith, Jimmy and Monica Smith; and great grandchild, Austin. Many other dear relatives and friends also survive. In lieu of flowers, donations maybe made to: Atascocita Presbyterian Church, 19426 Atasca Oaks Dr., Humble, TX 77346 or apchumble.org.
