Morris Neal "Buddy" Donner, age 72 of Conroe went to be with his beloved Lord and Savior Thursday, April 21, 2016 in the Conroe Regional Hospital. Buddy was born January 10, 1944 to R. L. Donner and Alma Lois (Krenek) Donner in Houston, TX. He was grew up in the Lovelady, TX area and loved living in the country until his parents decided a move to Houston would be good for the family. As a boy, he loved to go to the country and spend his many weekends and summers with his grandpa. Buddy was a 1961 graduate of Sam Houston High School. He loved the outdoors, sports, hunting, fishing and playing baseball and softball almost all his life. Buddy had a green thumb and loved gardening. He retired as the Vice President of U. S. Chemco Supply and Service. Buddy most enjoyed spending time with his family, especially with his wife and best friend of 49 years, Judy. He is survived by his wife, Judy Donner of Conroe; daughter, Karen Hilliard and husband, David; granddaughter, Caroline Hilliard; brother, Charles Donner and wife, Norma; twin sister, Frances Gates and husband, Harold and a host of loved nieces, nephews and extended family. Funeral services will be held Sunday, April 24, 2016 at 2:00 p.m in the Callaway-Allee Memorial Chapel. Family will receive friends Sunday beginning at 12:00 noon. Interment will follow in Evergreen Memorial Park.
