Nancy Ann Jenkins Richardson was born November 18, 1947, in Yoakum, Texas, to parents Turner Greene Jenkins and Josephine Earlene Smith Jenkins. After high school, she attended The University of Houston where she met the love of her life, Jerald Hollis Richardson.

Jerry and Nancy were married April 23, 1966, and celebrated fifty wonderful years of married life. Nancy was a devoted wife and mother, serving as den mother for Girl Scouts and Cub Scouts, acting as President of the booster club for the Stratford Spartanaires, and donating countless hours to the Westchester Swim Team. She led by example - always demonstrating to her children and grandchildren how it is more important to give than to receive.

Nancy served her community by donating her time to multiple volunteer organizations. She was President of the Westchester Woman's Club, President of the Houston Junior Forum, and President of the St. Joseph's Women's Auxiliary. With her radiant personality and generous spirit, she touched the lives of all who knew her.

She was also an astute businesswoman, having acted as a founding partner in the construction and management of Stow-A-Way Marina on Lake Conroe, Texas.

Most of all, "Gran-Nan" was an inspiration to her children and grandchildren. She lived life to its fullest, holding nothing back, giving the world all of the hope and joy and love she had to give.

She is survived by her husband Jerald Richardson, children Kristie (Preston) Chandler, Kellie (Terrin Jr.) Anderson, and Jerald Jr. (Kelly) Richardson. Grandchildren include Preston IV, Hayden, Terrin III, Turner, Kendall, and Hope. Also survived by brothers Britt (Sandi) and Paul (Melinda) Jenkins. She is preceded in death by her parents Turner Greene and Earlene Jenkins and her sister Karen (Edgar) Hull.

Visitation will be Wednesday, July 27, at 6 p.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 8227 County Rd 205, Plantersville, TX 77363. (936) 894-2223. A prayer and rosary service will follow.
