Nancy Lee Pointer Bowen entered eternal rest September 24, 2017 in Conroe Texas. She was born in Hamilton County, Texas January 29, 1921. She was preceded in death by her three brothers Rex, GW "Buddy" and Bill Pointer, her sister Oletha Plaster, her husband Doyle B. Bowen and her son, Doyle Lee Roy Bowen. She is survived by her daughters Eunice Carolyn Bowen Lance and Lana Jeanne Bowen. She is also survived by her daughter in law Sandra Bowen, nine grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren, 18 great great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Nancy and Doyle operated B&B Auto Trim and Upholstery in Conroe for many years. She was also active in her church and community. She was a member of The Order of the Eastern Star and Daughters of the Nile.

Visitation at Metcalf Funeral Home Conroe, Friday September 29, 2017 6-8pm. Celebration of Life 1pm Saturday, September 30, 2017 Living Way United Methodist Church, 17555 TX 242, Conroe Texas 77302. A graveside service will be held at 4pm September 30, 2017 at the Bedias Methodist Cemetery, Bedias Texas. BBQ reception following at the Bedias Civic Club. The family would like to thank her caregivers Donna Stalter and Kay Spell. Thanks also to Amy, Ashley and Jack of the Oasis Hospice.
