Nancy Faye (Wilson) Renfroe age 61 of Walden on Lake Conroe passed away peacefully in her sleep on May 25, 2014. She was a loving wife, mother, sister and friend to all. Nancy was born August 5, 1952, in Gonzales, Texas. She was preceeded in death by her parents, Fay W. Wilson and Nannie Maude( Estes) Wilson. She is survived by her husband, R. J. (Jerry) Renfroe, daughters Jeri Kaye Renfroe and her boyfriend, Todd Weaver, Nanette Renfroe Collins and husband, Aaron Collins, one grandson, Ashton Colt Collins; and her sister, Ginger Wilson.

Nancy graduated as valdictorian from Wealder High School in 1970. She held an associate degree in accounting from Del Mar College in Corpus Christ, Texas.

Nancy started her career as court coordinator for Judge E.W. Patterson, District Court of Gonzales County, Texas. She was manager of the Chamber of Commerce in Gonzales, Texas, many years. Upon moving to the Conroe area, Nancy was assistant manager of the Walden on Lake Conroe Community Improvement Association over 20 years and ultimately Manager for several years. Recently, Nancy was working for Dwight Snell & Associates, and managed numerous properties.

Nancy was a member of Pilot Club International, Rotary Club, Republican Womens League of Lake Conroe Area, served as president of the National Charity League, and very active in the Lone Star Cowboy Church of Montgomery, Texas.

The love of her life was her only grandson, Ashton Colt Collins. She was very active with his little league and pee wee football.

Visitation will be Thursday May 29th from 5pm To 7pm at Metcalf Funeral Home on Hwy. 105. There will be a wake at her residence after visitation. Funeral services will be held Friday May 30th at 10 am at the Lone Star Cowboy Church in Montgomery, Texas. There will be a grave side service on Friday May 30th at 3 pm at the Saturn Community Cemetery near Gonzales, Texas. The family requests that no red roses be sent.
