A Celebration of Life Service for Nancy Vaught Koerner, 73, longtime resident of Conroe, Texas will be held on Monday, April 16, 2018 at 10:00 A.M. in The Chapel at Conroe Funeral Directors with Brother Steve Yates officiating. Interment will immediately follow at Conroe Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Sunday, April 15, 2018 from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M.

Mrs. Koerner was born on March 16, 1945 in Texarkana, Texas and passed away peacefully on April 11, 2018 in Conroe, Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents; Bob Lee and Allene Brown Vaught; two sisters, Bobbie Vaught Hereford and Maynelle V. Pruett and her beloved husband, Monty Ray Koerner. Nancy is survived by her two sons, Tom L. Koerner and fiancé, Leslie Booher Cuccia of Montgomery, Texas and Monty Kyle Koerner and wife, Sharon Green Koerner of Tyler, Texas; grandson, Jacob Ray Koerner of Conroe, Texas; four step grandchildren, Hailey Thomas of Groceville, Texas, Thomas Cuccia of Midland, Texas, Jacob and McKay Cuccia of Montgomery, Texas; great granddaughter, Tommi Kaylynn Koerner of Conroe, Texas; two sisters, Noressa V. Bull of Conroe, Texas and Charlotte V. Perkins and husband, Ronnie Perkins of Conroe, Texas; brother, Neal Vaught and wife, Helen Williams Vaught of Gretna, Louisiana; and sister-in-law, Anita Koerner Baldridge of Lockhart, Texas. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.

Nancy was a longtime member of the Conroe Church of Christ and was employed by the Conroe Independent School District for 25 years.
