Norma Nichols of Oxnard, CA passed on to be with her Lord on May 22, 2012. Norma was born in Chehalis, WA on April 24, 1922 and grew up near Ashland, OR. She was an ordained minister and served in Denver, CO and did missionary work in Guadalajara, Mexico. Norma served as a volunteer ministering at the Ventura County jail for many years. While in Houston, Norma was a founding member of Lakewood Church. She is remembered by many as a prayer warrior.

Norma is survived by her loving husband, Randy Nichols, who took care of her every need in her final days. She is also survived by her daughter, Nancy Nichols Waltz and husband Joe Waltz of Montgomery, TX; grandchildren Brian Marquis and wife Shelly, Randy Marquis and wife Chantelle, great granddaughter Savannah Marquis; grandchildren Lauren Waltz, and Natalie Waltz Dildy and husband Luke.

Norma's interment will be held at the Houston National Cemetery on Friday, June 1, 2012 at 1 P.M.
