HIS FAMILY MOVED TO CALIFORNIA AND HE GRADUATED FROM ALBANY HIGH SCHOOL AND MARRIED HIS BEAUTIFUL BRIDE, SANDRA, OUT OF HIGH SCHOOL. THEY CELEBRATED 60 YEARS OF MARRIAGE ON JUNE 19TH OF THIS YEAR. THEIR UNCONDITIONAL LOVE WAS AN EXAMPLE TO MANY.

DURING HIS 15 YEARS OF RETIREMENT, HE AND SANDY TRAVELED THE UNITED STATES IN THEIR MOTOR HOME VISITING FRIENDS AND RELATIVES AS WELL AS SEEING WHAT THIS GREAT NATION HAD TO OFFER. HE WAS PROUD TO BE AN AMERICAN AND THE FLAG FLEW OUTSIDE WHEREVER HE WENT. HE HAD A GENEROUS AND FRIENDLY OUTLOOK ON LIFE AND BROUGHT JOY AND LAUGHTER TO THE PEOPLE HE MET.
