Otis Everitt Whiddon went to his heavenly home on February 16, 2017. He was born in Conroe, Texas, on November 24, 1945, to Minnie Besser Whiddon and Otis Earthman Whiddon.

Everitt is survived by his wife Dottie, daughter and son-in-law, Amy and Kevin Gregston, son and daughter-in-law, David and Kelly Whiddon, grandchildren, Keith Ashby, Natalie Whiddon and Ashley Whiddon, and brother and sister-in-law, Reynold and Charlotte Whiddon. He is preceded in death by his sisters, Caroline Armstrong and Rosemary Draehn.

Everitt was a member of West Conroe Baptist Church and the Vineyard Life Group. He worked at Smith and Company for 32 years prior to retiring in 2012. He enjoyed taking field trips with his grandchildren, dove hunting in South Texas and his Sunday "Nascar naps". Since his teens, Everitt would spend each deer season at Bender Pasture with lifelong friends. We celebrate his life, the lasting impact he had on so many and the love and devotion he demonstrated to all his friends and family.

Services will be held at West Conroe Baptist Church on Monday February 20, 2017 at 2pm with reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, please make contributions to the West Conroe Baptist Church Building Fund.
